What a Naturopath buys amidst COVID-19 madness.

For the coming week I have decided to do one big supermarket shop to decrease potential exposure to infection. 

My list was based on having enough delicious, healthy ingredients for one week only. 

When at the shops I made sure I was leaving enough healthy items for other people. Looking out for our community is just as important as looking out for ourselves.

Here is my immune-boosting shopping list. I hope it provides you with some guidance for the coming weeks. 

🔸 Veggies: onion, cauliflower, leek, capsicum, cucumber, silverbeet, mushrooms, potatoes, spinach 

🔸 Fruit: berries, oranges, apples, tomatoes, rhubarb

🔸 Immune boosters: garlic, ginger & turmeric

🔸 Dry goods: oats, pulse pasta, legumes 

🔸 Protein: eggs + tofu + grass fed mince 

🔸 Extra virgin olive oil 

🔸 Personal hygiene: Hand sanitizer & hand soap  

Remember to stay calm, look after yourself and look after your community
